WHAT: Spring House league evaluations

DATE: Saturday, February 20, 2016

TIME: 2:30-5p*

WHERE: Niles North Field House

CLARIFICATIONS: These evaluations are only for Baseball players (NOT Softball) who will be playing at the Mustang (9 and 10 yo) and Bronco (11 and 12 yo) levels. 

*DETAILS

Mustang players (9/10yo), please arrive between 2:30-3:45p

Bronco players (11/12yo), please arrive between 3:45-5:00p

Each player will be evaluated on batting, fielding & throwing, and pitching.  Your attendance is expected and greatly appreciated as this helps us evenly assemble the teams.

Players: Do not wear cleats, since this will be indoors. Please bring your glove. Bat is optional. Athletic supporter encouraged as we will do fielding.

Due to limited indoor availability, this may be the only scheduled evaluation. Please make every effort to attend. If you are unable to make your evaluation day and/or time slot, please contact Rich Batista at richbatista@aol.com

Registration for Skokie Indians 2016 Spring House League Baseball and Softball is now open at http://skokieindians.org/registration. Sign up now!  Registration closes on Sunday, April 3rd at 11pm.

Opening day will be Saturday, April 23th, pending weather, and the season will run through June, with playoffs (Mustang and up) expected to end June 22.

We are forming teams at these levels:

Shetland (formerly Rookie) (enrolled in PreK/K)
Pinto (formerly A/AA) (1st/2nd grade)
Mustang (formerly AAA) (3rd/4th grade)
Bronco (formerly Majors) (5th/6th grade)

We are also looking to fill some volunteering roles to help sustain and grow Skokie Indians Little League Baseball and Softball. This is a VOLUNTEER league and we could certainly use YOU! Your help, comments, suggestions, concerns, talents and experience are ALWAYS needed and welcomed in order for OUR league to grow and improve.

If you have coached, will be coaching or looking to begin your coaching career, you MUST attend this meeting in order to participate and volunteer as a Skokie Indians Coach in 2016.
